Prior to Vistria, Brian was a Private Capital Transactions Associate at Ropes & Gray LLP, where he focused his practice on private equity buyouts and strategic M&A, including public and private mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, and ongoing corporate governance for the media, telecommunications, and technology industries.
Prior to his tenure at Ropes & Gray, Brian worked in the media and telecommunications industry, where he served as a production manager for various Chicago-based media companies, and served as a production consultant to clients in the market research industry.
Brian received his B.A. from Denison University, where he majored in English, Cinema and Music Composition. He earned his J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School, where he was awarded the Ann Watson Barber Award for outstanding service to the University and the Law School, as well as the Kirkland & Ellis Corporate Lab Award of Excellence. He currently serves on various alumni engagement committees for UChicago.
