Prior to joining Vistria, Sheldon served as a Senior Recruiter on the Technical Services team at Stripe Inc. Before joining Stripe, Sheldon spent 7 years in New York with Macquarie Group Limited building and managing the junior talent pipeline for their capital markets and human resources businesses for the North America region. In addition to this role, he was a founding member of the Black Employees @ Macquarie (BEAM), and an executive committee member of the Multicultural (Unity) employee network groups. Sheldon also held board positions with multiple nonprofit organizations, including Philadelphia Futures and America Needs You (ANY), with a primary focus on early college and career success.
Prior to joining Macquarie, he also held roles at Barclays Capital and Deutsche Bank in Human Resources, and with Harlem Children Zone on their college advisory team.
Originally from Jamaica, he emigrated to the US by way of New York City, and attended the Pennsylvania State University where he received his Bachelor’s degree.
