Prior to joining Vistria, Michael was the General Counsel and Head of Business Development at United Shore Financial Services (“USFS”). At USFS, Michael was part of the senior team that transformed the company from a regional, independent lender to one of the nation’s leading independent mortgage lenders with an emphasis on sustained growth through systematic risk management. Prior to joining USFS, Michael began his career as a corporate attorney at Winston & Strawn LLP, where he represented public and private companies in a variety of mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.
Michael currently serves on the Board of Directors of The Mather Group, Daybright, Flores and Lumen. He is a Member of the Board of Trustees of The Columbus Academy and serves on the Duke Financial Economics Steering Committee.
Michael received a B.A. from Duke University and a J.D. from Columbia University.
